Superintendent's Summer  Reading Challenge

Did you know that reading is essential to helping prevent the “summer slide” where kids come back to school in the fall and have to spend time catching up?

To avoid that, our superintendent, Dr. Karla Loría is sponsoring a Summer Reading Challenge to encourage kids in Pre-K to 3rd Grade to keep reading and learning over the summer!

The challenge asks families to support their kids by using the Footsteps2Brilliance Summer Climb Bookshelves! The challenge starts on May 29th and closes on July 31st! The top readers at the end of the challenge and their teachers will be recognized at August’s board meeting!
