2025 Upcoming State Testing Information

Dear Parent or Guardian,

As we approach the end of the school year, students in grades 3 and above will soon participate in state assessments, including CMAS, PSAT, and SAT. These tests evaluate student progress in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as college readiness.

The results help the district and state assess instructional effectiveness and identify skill gaps and learning opportunities for students.

State testing will take place from April 7, 2025, to April 25, 2025. Please contact your child’s school for their specific testing schedule and details. Most assessments will be administered on a Chromebook.

To support your child’s success, please ensure they attend school on test days.

State law allows families to opt their students out of testing. However, nonparticipation means you will not receive information on how your child is performing relative to state standards. If you wish to opt your child out, please contact your student’s school to complete the necessary form.
