Charter Application Process | Proceso de Solicitud Charter

This summer, Adams 14 received a charter school application from KIPP Commerce City Academy (KCCA).

Adams 14 became a charter school authorizer in 2010, which means the district has been granted exclusive chartering authority in determining whether or not to approve charter school applications.

In anticipation of the Board of Education’s final decision on November 13, the district has outlined a process for the community to participate in this important discussion, and provide feedback to help inform the Board’s outcome.

These meetings will also serve as informative sessions where community members can learn more about our charter school authorizer status, and how this opportunity could impact Adams 14 students.
