JUSTIFICATION
Current capacity and cost to maintain Adams City Middle School and Kearney Middle School far exceeds the cost of replacing the two buildings with a single building. By the time of the planned opening, Adams 14 will be serving approximately 750 students in the Junior High setting.
DESCRIPTION
The new facility will serve up to 750 students in grades 7 and 8 and will be designated as the districts Junior High School. It is intended to meet all current district standards for technology, supporting a full range of program needs aligned with the Academies at the High School. This project will include athletic amenities such as track and football fields, along with support facilities, restrooms, concessions, and bleachers.
