About the Board
The Adams 14 Board of Education is the policymaking body of the district. The board's powers and duties to govern the education of students and the operations of the district are established in state law. The board is composed of five members who are elected by registered voters in the district every two years.
Monthly Meetings
The Board of Education holds a monthly business meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. The board holds a study session at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month. Notice of meetings, agendas, and minutes are available at BoardDocs.
Regular board meetings, will take place at the district's Educational Support Services building (5291 E 60th Ave, Commerce City), unless otherwise posted. The board typically does not meet during the month of July.
Individuals who are interested in speaking during the audience comment portion of the meeting must fill out an Audience Comment Card, which is available prior to the meeting. If you have any questions, please contact Debra Montoya, at dmontoya@adams14.org.

Have a Complaint or Concern?
Below are instructions on how to submit a complaint or concern (per district policy KE).
- Try to resolve your issue with the person you believe is responsible for the alleged inappropriate behavior. If the complaint is still unresolved, go to that person’s supervisor (principal, manager, director, etc.) to seek resolution.
- If the challenge is still unresolved, complete this form.
- If you have not been contacted regarding your complaint/concern within 48 business hours please contact Debra Montoya at dmontoya@adams14.org or drop off/mail your copy to Debra Montoya, 5291 E. 60th Ave., Commerce City, CO 80022.
You will be contacted as a part of the follow-up process.
