Adams 14 Preschools

Adams 14 offers parents choices for preschool. Our elementary schools offer preschool programs, and we also have two dedicated Early Childhood Education centers - STARS Early Learning Center (formerly 3C’s) and Sanville Preschool.

Adams 14 participates in the Colorado Preschool Project through the Colorado Department of Education. The program provides grant dollars to fund qualifying students in a tuition free preschool program. Our preschool classrooms meet state and district standards and work diligently to be a quality environment for each child’s first educational experience. Adams 14 believes in a fully inclusive setting at the preschool level.

Placement of children in preschool is coordinated through the Child Find office, see information below. All children who will be 3 years old by October 1 of the current school year need to be screened through Child Find to determine qualification and placement. Contact Child Find for more information and a screening appointment.

Adams 14 preschool program operates 4 days a week for 2 hours and 45 minutes each day.

  • Half-day: Four days/week – Monday - Thursday.
    A.M. preschool operates from 9:00-11:45.
    P.M. preschool operates from 1:00-3:45.

Child Find Program

The Child Find Program provides developmental screenings for children ages' birth to five years of age. Child Find must screen all children interested in the Colorado Preschool Project before being accepted into a tuition-supported program. They are also able to help you receive early intervention/special education services from outside agencies like North Metro Community Services for children younger than 3 years of age as well as offering a toddler program for children who qualify. Please contact Child Find to schedule an appointment for preschool screening and for more information concerning your child.

Adams 14 also offers Gifted and Talented services for early childhood education. If you believe your child is eligible for early access to kindergarten or first grade, please review and complete the information linked here:
