Citizens are invited to attend Board of Education meetings and be involved in improving our schools. Regular board meetings always allow time for citizens' comments.
Public meetings are the second and fourth Tuesday of each month with the exception of the second Tuesday of July and the fourth Tuesday of December. The first regular meeting of the month begins at 6:30 p.m. with a 6 p.m. special meeting, unless noted otherwise. The last meeting of the month begins with a study session at 5:30 p.m. followed by a 6 p.m. special meeting and then the regular 6:30 p.m. meeting. Additional tentative Special and/or Study Sessions may be scheduled and posted at the entrance of the administration building. All meetings take place in the Board of Education Room, Adams 14 Educational Support Services, 5291 East 60th Avenue, Commerce City, CO, unless posted otherwise.
The Agenda is the formal document that outlines the flow of each Board of Education meeting. It details the business the Board will cover in a particular meeting, and it provides calendar dates for upcoming critical events for the District and Board.
Minutes are the official public record of Board meetings. The minutes are compiled by the assistant secretary to the Board and are posted online for your review. The official minutes of the Board of Education are kept on file in the office of the Assistant Secretary to the Board located at Adams 14 Educational Support Services, 5291 East 60th Avenue, Commerce City, CO 80022.
