Integrated Services Director/ Special Education Director

The Integrated Services Director provides supervision and evaluation of the central office Integrated Services staff, including Specialized Service Professionals and paraprofessionals assigned to the Department; and provides consultation and support to principals who are responsible for the supervision and evaluation of all Integrated Services professionals primarily assigned to their buildings. 

The Integrated Services Director oversees and ensures that:

  • All children with disabilities have available to them a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) that emphasizes special education and related services designed to meet their unique needs and prepares them for further education, employment, and independent living;
  • The rights of children with disabilities and their parents are protected;
  • The District is in collaboration with any agencies providing services to District 14 students with disabilities; and
  • Efforts to educate children with disabilities are effective as shown by increased growth and proficiency.
