Adams 14 is a recipient of funding through the Colorado Department of Education’s McKinney-Vento Title X program. Through this funding, Adams 14 is better equipped to serve the homeless student population in the District.

Facts about the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act:

Part of the No Child Left Behind federal legislation, this law protects homeless students from discrimination and mandates equal access to educational programs and services. Students who are identified as homeless must have barriers to their education removed.
